Low Profile Carry Course - Wed/Thurs, June 26-27
Increase your knowledge and skills with concealed carry techniques for everyday carry. This course does not address Federal or State laws governing the use of deadly force.
This training course is not recommended for those who have not attended an official training program. This training course is designed for public safety professionals, military personnel, and law abiding citizens who want to improve their skills while carrying a concealed GLOCK pistol.
This course is a dynamic shooting course that requires the ability to stand for long periods of time, present your pistol from a concealed holster, shoot on the move, move into and recover quickly from the kneeling and prone positions.

Instructor's Workshop - Wed/Fri, Oct 9-10-11
This course is continuing education for current firearms instructors. 2.5 days (20 Hours)
Students will bring:
- GLOCK Pistol
- 1,000 rounds of ammunition (NO RELOADS)
- 10 dummy rounds
- Eye and ear protection
- A quality strong side holster that covers the trigger and trigger guard
- Minimum of 3 magazine and 2 magazine pouches
- A belt to support the pistol and magazine pouches
- Duty Equipment Encouraged, but not required

3 Day Defensive Handgun - October 12-14 (Sat-Mon)
This is a foundational certification course taught to AZ POST standards which
focuses on enhancement of defensive shooting techniques and combat gun-handling skills with the semi-automatic pistol.

Students will learn enhanced dry-practice and live-fire techniques that focus on development of combat gun-handling skills in preparation for use of the semi-automatic pistol for home defense, concealed carry and personal defense applications.

2 Day Pistol Mounted Optics - October 15/16
This is a foundational certification course taught to AZ POST standards which
focuses on enhancement of defensive shooting techniques and combat gun-handling skills using a pistol mounted optic (red dot).

This course was developed for the shooter that already understands how to operate a semi-automatic pistol with iron sights, and wishes to transition to and learn how to use a Pistol Mounted Optic on their personal defense handgun.

1 Day Emergency Medical response - October 17
*This is a DUAL certificate training course. Students that successfully complete this course will also receive a training certificate for completing the Stop the Bleed Training Standards.*

Emergency medical services may not always be readily available or may not have timely access to you when you are injured. Being able to identify various types of injuries and knowing how to administer emergency self-aid may keep you alive until you can receive advanced medical care.

Using techniques designed for and proven by the U.S. military, this course introduces the student to pre-incident planning, preparation, and provision of basic, effective, initial medical care for immediate personal application and emergency wound care for others.

2 Day Practical Performance Course - March 8/9
Tim Herron is a multi-division USPSA Grand Master a Master Class shooter in IDPA, with experience in defensive shooting, IDPA, Steel Challenge, bullseye and he will be bringing his flagship 2-Day course to Pima Pistol Club on March 8th & 9th 2025.

The class is two days long and focuses on the practical shooting skills that will help you more confidently plan, tackle, and shave time from your performance with a pistol. While this class does contain some advanced fundamentals, the class is dynamic and stage oriented. The class also includes a day of “firing line” type fundamentals training, however student’s don’t burn through ammo like a regular class, as Tim believes that when it comes to proper practice quality is much more important than quantity, so each and every round fired will count! This class will also cover principles of efficient practice, and how to structure your practices to identify and address your weaknesses.
Students will run a full “competitive pistol” type stage, multiple times through the course and will include elements such as entries and exits, opportunities to shoot on the move, awkward positions, close and far targets, and high-risk targets.

Nami is a full time trainer and competitive Pistol shooter who competes in IDPA, USPSA and IPSC. He is a general pistol and competition shooting instructor. Nami has won various titles including Arizona State Idpa Champion in the carry optic division.
Nami is very passionate about helping new shooters improve efficiency with their handguns. He also focuses on helping new or experienced competitive shooters reach their goals and leveling up their shooting skills!
Nami's method of teaching is one on one and very detailed!
