ICORE Postal Match Results

Results from the 2011 ICORE International Postal Match are out. I don't want to gloat more than I have to, but Pima Pistol's "Wild Bunch" shooters put in some very respectable showings.

Oh, and results from the 2011 IDPA Postal Match are expected to be out tomorrow.

IDPA Classifer

IDPA requires every club to shoot at least one classifier a year as a regularly scheduled match. Our scheduled classifier for this year will be the March 10 match.

In addition to the classifier, there will be two or three "scenario" stages. They'll probably be short and sweet, to keep the time and round count down. The classifier by itself takes 90 rounds, so you'll probably want to bring at least 150 rounds to allow for contingencies.

Remember, though we only shoot one scheduled classifier, if you need a classification we can probably find an SO for you after a match, or sometimes on other days.

Steel Challenge Potluck, December 24

The last Steel Challenge match of the year is still on, as scheduled, December 24. Bring something to share for potluck following the match. Celebrate two of the other true meanings of the season: gunfire, and spending time with your friends.
